Why join a professional association? 

Being part of a professional association is being part of a community of people with a common interest - in this case it is having an interest and passion for communications and the role of public relations. 

Living and working in the Middle East is a fascinating opportunity for any student and practitioner of communications given the multi-cultural environment in which we operate.  As an emerging, dynamic economy the UAE has unique communications challenges which form a common link among practitioners - and the main challenge is the relatively low level of understanding of the work we do, by those doing it! 

Many practitioners are expatriate professionals, recently relocated to the region.  Finding out basic information relating to communications services, media issues, suppliers and training programs is not easy.   That's where a professional association can help.
